My name is Elvis. I am a little more than a year old and have lived here at PAWS since the summer of xxxx. My start in life was kind of tough. I just know that my brother and I were left in a carrier in the night on the steps of a vet office. They found us the next morning and called PAWS to see if they could take me. I survived the night and am so grateful that the vets took care of me and PAWS agreed to give me a temporary home. I was a tiny thing. Well, that's what everyone kept saying as they passed me around. I got to stay in the manager girl's office last year for a few weeks. I think it's because they really liked me. Then they named me Elvis because they kept talking about a hunk and something about burning love. I have to admit that I am a very smooth operator and have a purr that will make you melt. They've got me up here with Marina and she is my roommate. We snuggle together every day and I will miss her when you come to take me home. But you might think about taking us together. We make a pretty pair! I am up to date on my shots, neutered and FeLV negative. Won't you come and take me home? I want to be able to say on the way out the door "Elvis has left the building." We are always looking for volunteers to come to the shelter and help out. You could play with the cats or dogs to help socialize them. There are many small jobs that a volunteer could do. We also need volunteers to foster cats, kittens, dogs or puppies. Please consider volunteering.
